Introduction to Backyard Aquaponics - May 11th, 2019

Do you love gardening? Do you enjoy raising fish for fun...or even to eat?

If you have answered yes to either, we are here to teach you about backyard aquaponics! Learn how to grow your own fish and vegetables while eliminating weeding, manual watering, and back breaking cultivation.

Aquaponics presents a unique hobby for your family as it combines food production, heightened environmental stewardship, applied STEM learning ,and healthy eating ALL IN ONE! Class includes a fresh salad for all attendees plus you will leave with a straightforward guide to backyard aquaponics. All ages welcome!

The class instructor is Sam Fleming, Executive Director of 100 Gardens. Sam teaches aquaponic gardening in over a dozen schools, is a Charlotte native and TEDx speaker. All proceeds directly support the mission of 100 Gardens, a charitable 501c3 organization. Sign up now and begin your aquaponics journey!
